Élie completed his Doctorate Degree in Psychology (combined Psy.D./Ph.D. profile) as well as a post-doctoral fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry. He also has a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences (research in psychiatry) and a Graduate Degree in Medicolegal Expertise. During his clinical training, he worked with a diverse population, which allowed him to develop an expertise in the treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, addictive disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and personality disorders. As a cognitive-behavioral therapist, he incorporates third-wave approaches with other therapeutic modalities in an integrative framework that he adapts to the needs of each client. Élie is also interested in teaching and clinical research and regularly contributes to writing scientific articles. He practices mainly with adult clients in French, English and Arabic.
