Healthcare systems can be challenging to navigate in the best of times. This becomes exponentially more difficult for a vulnerable individual who is struggling with mental health or substance use, as well as for loved ones seeking to help. Here is where navigators can step in and provide much needed guidance, helping to break down barriers to understanding and accessing care.
