Our 600-acre ranch in British Columbia, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of acres, adds to the experience of recovery for our patients. There are many areas around the lodge and cabins to relax and take in the beauty of EHN Edgewood Rockies and surrounding land.
The serenity, the beauty, the outdoor activities, the physical, emotional and spiritual awakening while experiencing them strengthens one’s addiction recovery. The beautiful natural surroundings allow us to feel deeply, find our best selves, and connect to others in a way that a more institutional setting simply cannot.

The Main Lodge
The Main Lodge at EHN Edgewood Rockies is an impressive log structure that provides accommodation, communal indoor and outdoor eating areas, as well as a public space for patients to enjoy themselves.
Evoking a down-to-earth vibe, the lodge features a spacious great room, adorned with a rock fireplace and handcrafted leather and furnishings. The atmosphere exudes a comforting warmth, reminiscent of the rustic charm found in wilderness lodges from days gone by.
Contributing to the cozy cabin feel are stacks of board games, books, a guitar and even a piano. We are consistently moved by the sounds of music created by our talented patients and the strong spirit of community that is regularly forged here.
The lodge has a variety of decks, covered and open, where patients can relax in peace as they overlook the rolling hills leading to the Purcell Mountains to our West and the Rocky Mountains to our East.
Within the lodge, you’ll find a fully equipped gym complete with free weights and a variety of cardiovascular exercise equipment. You can also unwind in the infrared sauna or enjoy the roller bed.
Luxurious, Comfortable Accomodations
There are seven cozy cabins. Each cabin houses 3 individuals in either a shared or single bedrooms. We also have private single rooms available in the main lodge
Medically Supervised Detox Centre
The detoxification centre is in the main lodge upper floor to ensure privacy. This medically supported detox centre is designed to provide clients with a safe and comfortable space to stabilize and can house up to eight patients.
Saugum Lake & Geese Lake
Saugum Lake and Geese Lake can be found close to EHN Edgewood Rockies, nestled in the middle of beautiful pine trees. The pristine waters are teeming with rainbow trout, making it the perfect spot for fly fishing. These spots have also become beautiful destinations for kayaking and canoeing enthusiasts alike.
Elk View Tower
Located in a very peaceful place on EHN Edgewood Rockies, the Elk View Tower on our ridge walk provides an incredible view of the Rocky Mountains, EHN Edgewood Rockies fields, and Geese Lake. It is a truly breathtaking, picturesque experience enhanced by the healing sound of the tower’s beautiful wind chimes whenever a breeze passes through.
The Labyrinth
The Labyrinth, a path for walking meditation, is a special tool when used with mindful intention, to lessen stress and gain serenity at EHN Edgewood Rockies. Labyrinth walking has been proven to elevate one’s sense of relaxation, clarity, inner peace, receptivity, and introspection, while reducing levels of anxiety, stress, and agitation. According to the U.S. Labyrinth Society, “The experience of labyrinth walking supports recovery, renewal, integration of the whole person, and facilitating a sense of harmony.”
The Fire Pit
At our river rock fire pit, our patients frequently gather to watch a roaring fire and engage in heartfelt, supportive conversations with one another.
Poustinia
The Poustinia — a small, wooden cabin considered to be our on-site hermitage — is just a brief stroll away from the lodge and cabin area. It’s intentionally secluded, offering our patients the opportunity for solitary retreats of contemplation, inspired reading, and if desired, prayer and meditation, one person at a time.
A combination of structure and freedom
At EHN Edgewood Rockies, we believe that each recovery journey is unique. It’s why we work to accommodate personal beliefs and practices. If there is a patient who wishes to include certain activities based on religion or culture, we will do our best to accommodate them.
The EHN Edgewood Rockies Community
Community plays an important role in every patient’s recovery journey. During your stay, you’ll participate in group therapy sessions with fellow patients who understand what you’re going through, providing the motivation and empathy you need to make meaningful progress. After you leave EHN Edgewood Rockies, you’ll have access to ongoing support and events from our national alumni network.
