In beautiful Nanaimo, BC Canada, Edgewood is an internationally renowned accredited and licensed private residential facility specializing in addiction treatments and substance abuse therapy with full time medical and psychiatric staff.

The primary function of the addictions counsellor is to identify, evaluate and treat persons who experience problems related to the use of mood-altering chemicals and/or behaviours, and to deal with the relationship between these experiences and the use or abuse of these chemicals.

Your qualifications include:
Knowledge of the 12 steps, addictions disorders, and experience facilitating group therapy, lecturing and educational presentations. The successful applicant will have a combination of education, training and experience in the field of addictions, preferably a Masters Degree
